Drew is an Omaha native that grew up overseas in Italy and then returned to Omaha at 18. He is fluent in both Spanish and Italian. His passion is developing vibrant neighborhoods and communities through asset-based community development best practices.
He has been involved in Omaha’s nonprofit community for a decade from poverty alleviation, homelessness services, refugee resettlement, youth programs, and people empowerment. He values Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, call him a JEDI master if you will. He knows that we can execute ways to build a more vibrant tomorrow for all people. Drew has most recently served as the DEI Chair for Heartland Pride, the Rising Leaders Institute Chair for YNPN, an at-large board member for Made New Makerspace and sits on a few advisory committees. Drew excels in community engagement, empowering people, and collaborative relationships.
He finds joy in watching YouTube reviews of trucks and SUVs, having deep personal and authentic conversations with people, regardless of who they are, hanging out with his boxer, or hanging out in Benson or Aksarben.
