Save the Date: 2026 Youth Summit Set for October 1

June 12, 2026

Inclusive Communities is excited to announce that the 2026 Youth Impact Summit will take place on October 1, 2026, bringing together students, educators, and community partners for a day of leadership development, meaningful dialogue, and connection.

Each year, the Youth Impact Summit creates opportunities for young people to engage in conversations that matter, develop leadership skills, and build relationships across schools and communities. The event is designed to empower students to share their perspectives, explore new ideas, and strengthen their ability to create positive change.

What makes the Youth Impact Summit especially meaningful is that it is shaped by young people themselves. Earlier this year, students from across the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas applied to serve on the Youth Impact Summit Planning Committee. These student leaders have been working behind the scenes to help guide the themes, discussions, and overall direction of this year’s event, ensuring the summit reflects the experiences, interests, and priorities of Nebraska youth.

At Inclusive Communities, we believe young people are essential partners in building stronger, more inclusive communities. The Youth Summit provides a space where students can learn from one another, engage in thoughtful dialogue, and develop the confidence to lead in their schools and beyond.

Additional event details, registration information, and program announcements will be shared in the coming months.

For now, we encourage students, educators, families, and community supporters to mark their calendars for October 1, 2026.

We look forward to welcoming the next generation of leaders for a day of learning, connection, and community impact.
